ETC Ministries was born from the motivation and revelation of the Holy
Spirit; the works of the churches (those who are in it for the business)
are not the works of the Holy Spirit. On the surface, they use a portion,
a small portion at that, to provide for the needy, the people who are
sick, the elderly, and those in prison.

The organized churches
and/or business thereof have established within a heirachy of importance.
Not only is there a leader addressed as "pastor," "bishop,"
or whatever, but there are offices such as "business manager,"
"office coordinator" and the such which deal primarily with
the finances of the business. There are "business meetings"
scheduled for select members (board meeting) so as to establish financial
goals and expenditures. There are the building commitees for the purpose
of "church growth." Through all of this, there appears to
be very low priority to provide for the poor, to visit the sick, elderly
and those in prison. And there seems to be a low priority to bring
the gospel of Jesus Christ to the forefront in the immediate community.
The priority is aimed primarily at their business in lieu of what
the Lord has stated. Some of these church business leaders and immediate
subordinates live in extravagance and above the resources of the commom
layperson. They have made it a life-long profession, not working in
the common world and earning their keep. |
The emphasis is on "tithes
and offerings" for the main purpose of expansion, putting up
new and bigger buildings, and promote the mortar and bricks doctrine
while the important teachings of Jesus go to the way side.
Granted, a place of worship is needed. But when the balance of teachings
are so skewed and out of whack, then the matter needs to be reviewed
and exposed.
I have witnessed most church businesses avoid certain scripture
in favor of the erroneous "tithe doctrine" so as to incite
the people to give and give.
There is an absolute need to change our hearts of giving to where
it really matters. Jesus had a much different teaching on giving
than what the church businesses have done, exploited their clients and/or members.
Many of the leaders of these church businesses will eventually
be exposed. They have labored for the sake of a profit and an increase
in their personal wealth. Some have bragged about it. Some have
been overzealous in showing off their extravagance.
One pastor was heard to have stated in a Sunday School class, "Come
on people, this is a business" when trying to get the people
to contribute to their building fund.
I'm sure Jesus will establish all things and make it right once
more.

Jesus was recorded to have said, "For I was
hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me
something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes
and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison
and you came to visit me.
Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when
did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something
to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing
clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to
visit you?'
The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever
you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'"
--- Matthew 25:35-40
I recognize the massive hypocricy and false teachings of the church businesses.
While they push for bigger buildings, decorate with fine furniture and
adorn their place of worship, I had seen the pittance of their emphasized
revenues go toward those truly in need. If Jesus came today, I think he
would have something to say and do about it.

| Rapture:
Fallacy or Truth? - The
pre-tribulation rapture, hence called the “rapture” is
a controversial subject, especially as the times appear to be rapidly
approaching what we know as the “end times.” It is taught
primarily that this will be the vehicle to escape the wrath of God
upon a wicked world. Jesus will partially descend from heaven, collect
the church or his righteous ones, and bring them to heaven before
the great tribulation starts. The question: Is this a fallacy or a
truth? (e-book in the making) |
